A Barrage Of Awards At The Festival of Nations

Up to 12 short films, promoted at film festivals by [ The House of Films ], have just been awarded at the 41st Festival of Nations (Austria).

We Will Call Him Bobby (Le llamaremos Bobby) by Paco Cavero, To the Other Side (Al otro lado) by Alicia Albares, Where's Beauty? (¿Dónde quedó la belleza?) by Enrique Cerrejón, Death Chase (Y la muerte lo seguía) by Ángel Gómez Hernández, Till Death Do Us Part by Julián Lara, The Discarded (En mal estado) by David Delicado Adsuar & Juan Antonio Delicado Adsuar, The Parents (Son los padres) by Polo Menárguez, Chaos by Miguel Monteagudo, Jacobo by David del Águila, The Light of the World (La luz del mundo) by Fernando J. Martínez & Alfonso García, Photo (Foto) by Ismael Ferrer, and Purple Wounds (Las heridas lilas) by María Lorente have two things in common: they are promoted at film festivals by [ The House of Films ] and they have won an awared at the 41st Festival of Nations (Lichtspiele Lenzing, Austria).

From 14th to 20th July it was held the forty-first edition of the Festival of Nation in Lichtspiele Lenzing (Austria) under the motto "The Best Short Films From All Around The World". For the 2013 year's edition they had selected 143 short films from all over the world in competition. A tough competition for the 13 short films distributed by [ The House of Films ] that had entered into the Official Competition of this festival. In fact, only 20 shorts from Spain, including the 13 aforementioned ones, were competing in this short film contest.

The joy for these filmmakers was still greater when the organizers of this Austrian competition announced this year's winners. 12 out of the 13 short films represented by [ The House of Films ] have won an award.

Specifically, We Will Call Him Bobby by Paco Cavero and To the Other Side by Alicia Albares have won the Gold Award of the 41st Festival of Nations, the main award of this film competition.

The Silver Award has gone to the short films Where's Beauty? by Enrique Cerrejón and Death Chase by Ángel Gómez Hernández.

For their part, six short films have obtained the Bronze Award. They are: Till Death Do Us Part by Julián Lara, The Discarded by David Delicado Adsuar & Juan Antonio Delicado Adsuar, The Parents by Polo Menárguez, Chaos by Miguel Monteagudo, Jacobo by David del Águila, and The Light of the World by Fernando J. Martínez & Alfonso García.

Finally, Photo by Ismael Ferrer and Purple Wounds by María Lorente have won a Diploma each one.
