Euthanas Inc. Starts Running At Off-Courts Festival

Today, 6th September, it is opening a new edition of the Off-Courts Festival in Trouville-sur-Mer (France). Euthanas Inc. (Eutanas SA), the short film by Víctor Nores, is going to compete there.

From today, 6th September, until Saturday 14th September the short film Euthanas Inc. (Eutanas SA), directed by Víctor Nores and produced by Borja de la Fuente, is going to compete at the Off-Courts Festival. Specifically, this is going to be the 14ème Off-Courts Festival of Trouville-sur-Mer (France).

The Off-Courts has mainly been conceived as a meeting fro French and Québécois short films. However, the festival showcases also a notable selection of shorts from Europe and the rest of French-speaking countries. The Official Competition has nominated 59 short films. Another 59 short films are going to be shown by the organizers out of competition in the "Hors compétition 2013".

As for the Official Competition, Euthanas Inc., the short film by Víctor Nores, is going to compete in the "Europe et Francophonie" category of the "Compétition 2013". In this category, open to European and Francophone countries, are going to participate 15 films.

The list of competitors in the "Europe et Francophonie" section includes the following titles: 22:22 by Julien Becker (Luxembourg), 4:13 do Katowic by Andrezej Stopa (Poland), A Big Drama for a Little Man by Nico Capogna (Italy), Balance by Mark Ram (Netherlands), Colors by Cid (Madagascar), Doors de Michele by Angelis (Italy), Eletric Indigo by Jean Julien Colette (Belgium), Euthanas Inc. by Víctor Nores (Spain), Habitat by Ina Georgieva (Bulgaria), Hotel by José Luis Alemán (Spain), Ingrid fait son cinéma by Véronique Jadin (Belgium), Mitt Forra Liv by Sébastian Lindblad (Sweden), Tooth of Hope by Nizar Sfair (Lebanon), Wächter by Daniel Jude (Germany), and War Room by Thomas Stuyck & Adrian Petrache (Belgium).

The screening of Euthanas Inc. is scheduled on Wednesday 10th September at 20:00 hours at the Cinéma Off of Trouville-sur-Mer.

Apart from the exhibition of competing and out-of-competition shorts, the Off-Courts Festival is presenting other special activities such as screenings of several full-length films, exhibitions of some French shortfilmmakers, selections of shorts seen in other film festivals, etc.
