Salento Selects What Is the Price?

La Mostra Internazionale di Cinema del Salento (Italy) is opening today, 7th September, with the Spanish short film What Is the Price? (¿Cuál es el precio?), directed by Sergio Yunta, on focus.

The short film directed by Sergio Yunta, What Is the Price? (¿Cuál es el precio?), has won a new film festival nomination. From today, 7th September, until Sunday 15th September, it is going to compete in the Decima Mostra Internazionale di Cinema del Salento (Tricase, Apulina, Italy), also known as the Salento International Film Festival in English.

What Is the Price? by Sergio Yunta is contending in the section "Il Mondo in Corto" (The World in Short). This section consists of only six finalists^*: The Long Way Down, What Is the Price? by Sergio Yunta, Stolen Light, The Swimmer, A Beautiful Impurity, and Red Valentine.

The screening of the finalist shorts of "Il Mondo in Corto", including What Is the Price?, is scheduled on Friday 13th September at 18:30 hours at the Palazzo Gallone, located in Tricase.

Apart from this section where What Is the Price? is competing, the Mostra del Salento is divided into three main competitions: "Lungometraggi in concorso" (Features Film Competition), "Documentari in concorso" (Documentaries Competition), and "Cortometraggi in concorso" (Short-Films Competition). The full-length film competition has selected 9 movies while the documentary competition has 10 films in this format. For its part, the short films is subdivided in three sections: "Corti Italyni" (Italyn Short) with 7 candidates, "Alle Donne Piace Corto" (Women Like It Short) with 6 short films directed by women, an the above mentioned "Il Mondo in Corto" with 6 international short films in competition. In total, 19 short films are part of the Official Competition of the Decima Mostra del Salento.
