Two Spanish short films: Chaos by Miguel Monteagudo and Euthanas Inc. (Eutanas SA) by Víctor Nores, are competing since yesterday, 14th October, at the Festival de Cine y Video Kayche' Tejidos Visuales of Mexico.
The 2nd Festival de Cine y Video Kayche' Tejidos Visuales began yesterday, 14th October, in Mérida, capital of the Mexican state of Yucatán. Chaos, directed by Miguel Monteagudo, and Euthanas Inc. (Eutanas SA), directed by Víctor Nores and produced by Borja de la Fuente, are competing at this Mexican film competition. The short The Setback (El revés) by Gonzalo Perdomo is also participating.
Over 170 Mexican and international production were submitted to the second edition of this festival. The Official Competition consists of 58 films divided in the Mexican Category (Categoría Nacional) with 15 nominees and the International Category (Categoría Internacional) with 43 candidates. The Mexican Category has 2 fiction short films and 13 documentaries.

Besides of the activities in Mérida, the Festival Kayche' Tejidos Visuales has also planned screenings in other towns of Yucatán. The Festival Kayche' Tejidos Visuales is a biannual competition and the current edition is going to be closed on Saturday 19th October.
