From today, 8th May, el short film Euthanas Inc. (Eutanas SA), directed by Víctor Nores and produced by Borja de la Fuente, is competing at a new edition of the Film Festival Internazionale di Milano (Milan, Italy).
The XIV Edizione del Film Festival Internazionale di Milano (Milan, Italy) is starting today, Thursday 8th May, with the short film Euthanas Inc. (Eutanas SA) by Víctor Nores as one of the selected films for this year's Official Competition.
Specifically, Euthanas Inc., the short film directed by Víctor Nores and produced by Borja de la Fuente, is going to compete in the "Cortometraggi Fino a 15 min. max - Internazionale" category, a competitive section open to international short films less than 15 minutes long.
Because of this nomination, Euthanas Inc. is going to be shown just today, Thursday 8th May. From 15:30 hours Euthanas Inc. can be seen at the Università IULM (Istituto Universitario di Lingue Moderne) of Milan. The director of Euthanas Inc., Víctor Nores, is attending to this screening.
The "Internazionale, Fino a 15 min" category comprises 9 international short films this year. They are Euthanas Inc. by Víctor Nores, Inside the Box by David Martín Porras, Touched by Jeremiah Quinn, Tryouts by Susana Casares, Bruise by Néstor Fernández, Color Separation by Yoav Parish, Jack Attack by Antonio Padovan & Bryan Norton, Angst by Nunzio Fazio, and In the Still of the Night by Erich Steiner.
Euthanas Inc. by Víctor Nores is fighting for several awards at this film competition. It is contesting for the Premio Miglior Film Cortometraggio (Best Short Film Award), the Premio Miglior Film Cortometraggio Max 15 Min (Best Max 15 Min Short Film Award), and the Premio del Pubblico Film Cortometraggi Max 15 Min (Audience Award to Best Max 15 Min Short Film).
Besides of the "Cortometraggi Fino a 15 min. max - Internazionale" category, the 14th Film Festival Internazionale di Milano is showcasing 6 international short films competing in the "Cortometraggi oltre 15 min. fino a 30 min. max - Internazionale" section (for short films between 15 and 30 minutes long), and another 7 Italian short films selected in the "Cortometraggi Fino a 30 min. max - Italiana" competition.
Additionally, 12 international full-length films in the "Lungometraggi - Internazionale" category and 6 documentaries in the "Documentari - Internazionale" section are going to be show as part of the Official Competition.
The 14th MIFF 2014 will continue until coming Sunday 18th May. That day the winners of all competitions are going to be announced.
