Bus Story, the short film directed by Jorge Yúdice, is going to the Italian festival SorsiCorti from today, Friday 12th May. This film event is held in the city of Palermo (Sicily, Italy) and Bus Story is going to compete in the Official Competition of this festival.
During the next eight days, from 12th to 19th May, the short film Bus Story by Jorge Yúdice is going to take part at the SorsiCorti Film Festival IX - Festival Internazionale di Cortometraggi e Buon Vino, which is annually held in Palermo (Sicily, Italy).
The residents of Palermo can watch the short Bus Story by Jorge Yúdice, which has been nominated for the Official Competition of the SorsiCorti IX, coming Monday 15th May. The show of this short has been included in a session starting at 21:00 hours. The screenings venue will be the Ex Cinema Edison of Palermo.

Thus the Official Competition of the SorsiCorti IX consists of 58 films. 28 fiction shorts, 16 animations shorts, 6 documentary shorts, and 8 experimental films make up this year's film contest. As for the country of origin, the SorsiCorti IX has selected shorts coming from Spain (9), Italy (7), Germany (4), USA (4), Brazil (3), France (3), Sweden (3), Australia (2), Austria (2), Canada (2), Chile (2), Finland (2), Netherlands (2), Hungary (2), Iran (2), Bulgaria (1), India (1), Israel (1), Mexico (1), Poland (1), United Kingdom (1), Romania (1), Singapore (1), and Switzerland (1).
Apart from the 58 shorts of the Official Competition, the SorsiCorti IX is going to showcase five short films out of competition. They are the films: Sıra Dışı İnsanlar by Orhan Teekoglu (Turkey), Terapia del movimiento by Isabel Torres (Mexico), Bellanca by Victor Nores (Spain), The Bloom of Youth by Adam Freund (Hungary), and Taqseem by Seraj us Salikin (Pakistan).
The 2017 edition of the SorsiCorti will be closed on Friday 19th May with the awards gala, from 21:00 hours, at the Piccolo Teatro Patafisico of Palermo.
