The Mister Vorky International Festival of One Minute Film, which takes place in the town of Ruma (Vojvodina, Serbia), has selected the latest short film by Jorge Yúdice titled Rip Pole.
The short film Rip Pole by Jorge Yúdice has been nominated for taking part in the 5. Mister Vorky International Festival of One Minute Film / 5. Mister Vorky Međunarodni Festival Jednominutnog Film 2018. This film contest is held in Ruma, a Serbian town in the autonomous province of Vojvodina, and it will be carried out from today, Friday 1st, until Sunday 3rd June.
The 2018 selection of the Mister Vorky Festival consists of 116 short films running less than one minute, including Rip Pole by Jorge Yúdice. These shorts are going to be shown at the Kulturni Centar Brana Crnčević of Ruma during the three days of this festival.
The competing shorts are fighting for several awards that will be unveiled on Sunday 3rd June. Rip Pole by Jorge Yúdice is contending for the Grand Prix for the Best Film / Grand Prix Za Najbolji Film Festivala, the Best Foreign Film Award / Nagrada Za Najbolji Strani Film, and the Audience Award for the Best Film / Nagrada Žirija Publike Za Najbolji Film. They are also going to announce the Best Serbian Film Award / Nagrada Za Najbolji Domaći Film.
The Independent Film Center Vorky Team / Nezavisni Filmski Centar Vorky Team is the organization behind the Mister Vorky Festival. This festival pays tribute to the Serbian-US artist Slavko Vorkapić, born near Ruma.
