Catacumba 2011 Selects The Fright

The latest short film by J. J. Marcos, The Fright (El espanto), is currently competing at the Catacomb International Short Film Festival (Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Catacumba, Valencia, Spain).

The Fright (El espanto), the short film directed by J. J. Marcos, is competing since December 25th at the 10th Catacomb International Short Film Festival, a.k.a. FICCA'T 2011, (Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes Catacumba), which is currently taking place in Valencia, Spain.

The Fright is one of the shorts eligible for the Broken Doll to the Best Pleasant Short Award of the FICCA'T 2011. 6 shorts in total have been selected for this category of this festival: besides of The Fright, the short film by J. J. Marcos, Intruso by José Ramón Frías, Derechos de autor mortales by Iván Muñiz, Le blanc c´est le meilleur by Greg Ruggeri, El último viaje del Capitán Justicia by David Muñoz, and La carta by Tamara Hernández Ledesma.

On the other hand, the Catacumba 2011 has nominated other 12 short films for its Official Competition. The screenings of FICCA'T 2011 are finishing today, Wednesday December 28th. The awards gala is scheduled on Friday December 30th. This festival is going to be closed on Saturday December 31th with a New Year's Eve party.
