Another festival entry for El segundo amanecer de la ceguera ("The Second Awakening of Blindness"), the latest short film by Mauricio Franco. Now, this short film has entered in the 22. FilmFest Dresden (Germany).

El segundo amanecer de la ceguera has been selected to participate in the coming edition of the Filmfest Dresden. This short film directed by Mauricio Franco has been one of the 68 works chosen by the selection committee among more than 2,100 entries. El segundo amanecer de la ceguera will contend in the International Competition. It is eligible for several awards of the Filmfest Dresden: the Golden Horseman (Goldener Reiter) Short Fiction Film, the Audience Golden Horseman, and an award granted by the European cultural TV network ARTE.

The 22. FilmFest Dresden will start on April 20th and will finish on April 25th in this German city, state capital of Saxony. This festival is exclusively devoted to international short films and is one of the most important festivals in Europe.

With this new entry, the short film El segundo amanecer de la ceguera, promoted at festivals by [ The House of Films ], has won a new selection in a exclusive German festival after being selected in the Berlinale 2010.
