DIFF Selects El Segundo Amanecer de la Ceguera by Mauricio Franco

The Digital International Film Festival of Chile has selected the short film El segundo amanecer de la ceguera (The Second Awakening of Blindness) for its out of competition section.

El DIFF (Digital International Film Festival), which will be held in Viña del Mar (Chile) from April 26th to 29th, will show the short film El segundo amanecer de la ceguera (The Second Awakening of Blindness) by Mauricio Franco this year. After competing in the Festival Cinematográfico Internacional del Uruguay, El segundo amanecer de la ceguera continues its festival tour throughout Latin America.

Shot in Spain, El segundo amanecer de la ceguera (The Second Awakening of Blindness) has been directed and written by the Peruvian -now living in Madrid- Mauricio Franco. Its protagonists are the Cuban actress Orisel Gaspar and the Cuban director and actor Abel Fowler. The film crew was formed by Peruvian and Spanish professionals.
