The fiction short films Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll) by Hugo Sanz and El segundo amanecer de la ceguera (The Second Awakening of Blindness) by Mauricio Franco were selected for the Mediu Güeyu Short Film Festival which was held in Villaviciosa (Asturias, Spain) from September 3rd to 5th.

One more festival for Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll), the short directed by Hugo Sanz and produced by 29Letras, and for El segundo amanecer de la ceguera (The Second Awakening of Blindness), written and directed by Mauricio Franco. The Festival de Cortos Mediu Güeyu (Mediu Güeye Short Film Festival) of Villaviciosa (Asturias, Spain) selected both short films for its latest edition which began on September 3rd 2010 and finished on September 5th. The screening of the Official Competition took place at the Teatro Riera of Villaviciosa.

This has been the first edition of this new festival organized by the Asociación Cultural Mediu Güeyu (a cultural private institution in Villaviciosa).
