Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll), a short film directed by Hugo Sanz and produced by 29Letras, has won the First Award in the XXX Semana del Cine Español in Carabanchel (XXX Spanish Cinema Week in Carabanchel, Madrid). The closing ceremony of the XXX Semana del Cine Español de Carabanchel was on last Sunday, February 7th, at the Patio de Cristales in the Casa de la Villa in Carabanchel. During this event, conducted by the actress Verónica Sánchez, the Semana gave a special Award to Spanish internationally well-known actress Mercedes Sampietro for her outstanding acting career. Also during this ceremony, the XXII Certamen de Cortometrajes unveiled the Jury's First Award for Adiós, muñeca by Hugo Sanz. The Jury also awarded other short films as La rubia de Pinos Puente by Vicente Villanueva (2nd Prize), The End by Eduardo Chapero Jackson (3rd Prize), and Notes on the Other by Sergio Oskman (Special Jury Mention) while La condena by Mario de la Torre deserved the Audience Award.
