Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll) by Hugo Sanz has been nominated for the 10th Semana de Cine Iberoamericano "La Chimenea de Villaverde" (10th Latin American Cinema Week "La Chimenea de Villaverde"). The winner in the short film category will contend for the Goya Awards 2011 (Spanish Film Academy Awards).

The 10th Semana de Cine Iberoamericano "La Chimenea de Villaverde” has selected Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll), directed by Hugo Sanz and produced by 29Letras, for its Official Competition. The contest will be from June 7th to 12th 2010 in Villaverde, a Madrid district.

The 10th Semana de Cine Iberoamericano "La Chimenea de Villaverde” is dedicated to feature and short film shot in one of the Latin American languages. The features were eligible if they were not still theatrically premiered, though some films, already exhibited commercially, would be eligible because of their excellence.

This Madrid-based Contest grants several "Chimenea de Villaverde" Awards: Best Feature Film Award, Best Short Film Award, Audience Best Feature Film Award, Audience Best Short Film Award, and Special Prize. The short film which wins the Jury's Best Short Film Award, will be eligible for the Goya Awards 2011 (Goya Awards are the Spanish Film Academy's most important prizes).
