The Eugena Film Festival has nominated the short film Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll) by Hugo Sanz for its Official Competition.

The IX Eugena Film Festival (in Italian, Festival Internazionale del Cortometraggio e del Documentario) has just nominated Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll), directed by Hugo Sanz, for its Official Contest. This festival is held in the Italian towns of Este and Monselice, both in the province of Padua, in the Veneto region. The name of this festival refers to the Colli Euganei (in English, Euganean Hills), a mountain range of volcanic origin where Este and Monselice are placed. This mountains are famous for their hot springs and hot mud. The Eugena Festival begins on July 8th and ends on 25th.

Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll) has also been nominated for two other Italian festivals: the 8th Ischia Film Festival, which starts on July 4th, and the Kinema International Film Festival, where Sara Casasnovas won an award for her acting work in this short film. Additionally, Adiós, muñeca won the Corto Helvetico al Femminale de Lugano which takes place in the Italian-speaking canton of Ticino in Switzerland.
