The 8th Ischia Film Festival has selected, out of competition, the short film Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll) by Hugo Sanz. The Festival is scheduled from July 4th to 10th 2010 in the island of Ischia, near Naples.

The 8th Ischia Film Festival will screen inside the "Sezione Scenari" (Showing Session) the short film by Hugo Sanz, Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll). This Sezione is a no-competitive category which shows a exclusive handful of films from whole Europe.

The Festival, from July 4th to 10th, will take place inside the famous Castello Aragonese di Ischia (Ischia Aragonese Castle). The screening of "Sezione Scenari" will be at the Torre del Molino (the Tower of Mill) which is part of the castle. Out of competition works will show each festival day at 21:00.

Despite of its short number of editions, the Ischia Film Festival honour board is compound of several Oscar winners and some international well-known Italian film directors such as Vittorio Storaro, Mario Monicelli, Krzysztof Zanussi, Giuliano Montaldo, Carlo Rambaldi, Osvaldo Desideri, Alan Lee, and Ken Adam.
