The Festival Digital El Sector (Digital Festival "El Sector"), which is held in Madrid (Spain), has selected the short film Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll) by Hugo Sanz.

From June 16th till 19th, the well-established Festival Digital El Sector will screened a handful of films. This year, the Festival has selected the short film Adiós, muñeca (Goodbye, Doll) by Hugo Sanz for its Official Competition.

This Festival takes place in a famous Madrid-based bar, El Sector, a meeting point for film lovers in the capital of Spain. The closing ceremony of this 4th Festival Digital Internacional de Cortometrajes El Sector (International Short Film Digital Festival "El Sector") is scheduled on Saturday June 19th. In total, the Festival will grant 18 awards for each contending category: fiction, documentaries, animation, and experimental. This is the first time that the Festival El Sector selects experimental works.

At the time of writing this information, the festival organization does not disclose the list of all selected films. For its part, Adiós, muñeca, the short film directed by Hugo Sanz and produced by Spanish production company 29Letras, continues its festival running both internationally and in Spain. Lately, the short has been selected for the Zanzibar International Film Festival and Sara Casasnovas, starring the short, has won a prize at the Kimera International Film Festival in Italy.
